Hey. AS you can see, my name is lonejedi
, and you are certainly welcome to add me. I saw your posting in a community for people with ADD and ADHD. I showed up at the community because I'm doing a college research paper. what really caught my attention is how your school prevents you, on account of your learning disability, from taking advanced courses, particularly in Language
arts, which is something you obviously enjoy. I'm curious to know if anyone's challenged this policy. I totally feel your pain about Special Ed. In my view, it's a joke. I'm blind, and so I had to take Special Ed classes in High School even though my needs had absolutely nothing to do with the services that BHS offered for Special Needs students. My needs were taken care of by a tutor specifically for blind people. But, because of some crappy policy, I had to take Special Ed because otherwise, I'd never gotten the services I needed so far as actually having that special tutor. Socially speaking, Special Ed sucks. It spends too much time focussing on people's weaknesses and seems to completely forget their strengths. Look. The bulk of my message is this. Should you just wanna chat, let me know. you're welcome to check out my journal, and if you have Skype, then I'm totally open to chatting online. Yeah, I'm an adult, but I'm not weird or nothing, and I'm pretty openminded and low-key. Anyway, Stop on by, and consider the possibility of taking legal action to change the policies at your school. You totally deserve it, and if I were your mother, I'd be absolutely pissed at them. Anyway, cheers to you and I hope you have a good day, evening, week, whatever.
